Saeed Farzi

Saeed Farzi is a researcher at FBK working on ECREAM project. His research concentrates on natural language processing and information retrieval. Specifically, He has been employing highly advanced machine learning techniques such as deep learning, adversarial learning, and self-learning to boost NLP-related  systems in medical domain.  

Saeed  in September 2016, received his PhD Degree from Tehran University in Computer science. He was working on phrase- and neural- based machine translation systems at Natural language processing Lab under supervision of Dr. Heshaam Faili and Shahram Khadivi. He has published several journal and conference papers and a couple of books in machine learning and natural language processing. 

He was an assistant professor of K. N. Toosi University of Technology and a head of the Text Retrieval Lab (https://trlab.ir/).

In addition to his academic achievements, he spent seven years as a faculty member at K. N. Toosi university of Technology in Iran. This position provided his some experiences for teaching and managing several specific courses in the domain of computer sciences, ranging from Database system to advanced Information Retrieval.
